SBC-YO started in 2019, with support from the Red Earth Community Foundation,
South Burnett and FRRR: the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (Tackling Tough Times Together).

We continue to welcome less experienced musicians of all ages to enjoy a series of low cost orchestral workshops throughout 2021,
giving the experience of playing in a larger, more diverse group of musicians and working on pieces from a wide range of genres,
including classical, 20th century and popular film themes.
The music to be learned during the workshops is best suited to musicians of about AMEB grade 1 level or above.

During Term 2 2021, we will by trying a new practice time from 4pm to 5.30pm on Wednesdays, at Kingaroy Uniting Church Hall starting on Wednesday 28/4/21.  Hall opens at 3.30pm.  New members are always welcome!  Please email us for more info.

We will also continue to hold some weekend workshops.  Workshops are held on Saturdays, usually from 9.45am to 2pm.  Most are held at Kingaroy Uniting Church Hall, corner of Alford and Youngman streets. These may include visiting specialist tutors.

Workshop dates for 2021: email to find out more - these dates are being reviewed.  We are still proposing a workshop Oct 9 with a community concert.

Proudly supported by the South Burnett Community Orchestra.
